Privacy Policy
Goodfaith Shop, operated by Goodfaith Network Ltd. Last updated 2 September 2026.
1. Who we are
Goodfaith Network Ltd (“we”, “us”) sells renewable energy products such as solar panels, batteries, inverters, cables and accessories. Goodfaith Shop is our shop, inventory and customer ordering application, available on the web and as Android and iOS apps.
Contact for privacy matters: support@goodfaithshop.app.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address and profile photo supplied when you sign up with email or Google Sign-In.
- Order and transaction data — products ordered, quantities, prices, VAT, invoice numbers, payment references and payment status.
- Business records — for staff accounts: products, stock movements, sales, purchases, customer and supplier records you enter into the app.
- Technical data — device type, app version and error diagnostics used to keep the service working.
We do not collect card numbers. Payments are made by bank transfer directly to our bank; we only store the reference you submit so staff can confirm payment.
3. How we use your information
- Create and secure your account and control what you are allowed to see.
- Process orders, confirm payment, issue receipts and manage stock.
- Send transactional email such as password resets and payment receipts.
- Produce internal sales, stock and financial reports.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot faults and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you (orders and account access), to comply with tax and accounting obligations, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and securing the business. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Sharing and service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Cloud hosting and database provider (application data storage and authentication).
- Email delivery provider, for password resets and receipts sent from notify.goodfaithshop.app.
- Google, if you choose Google Sign-In, for verifying your identity.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights. Data may be stored on servers outside Nigeria under appropriate contractual safeguards.
6. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Sales, invoice and receipt records are kept for at least six years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements, even after an account is closed. Diagnostic logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. Row-level security rules restrict each account to the records its role permits: administrators, storefront staff and customers each see only what they need. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider; staff cannot read them.
8. Your rights and account deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To delete your account and associated personal data, email support@goodfaithshop.app from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We action verified requests within 30 days. Transaction records required by law are retained in anonymised or legally required form.
9. Children
Goodfaith Shop is a business application and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and the “last updated” date above will change.
